British Independent Film Awards: Ex Machina Earns Top Honors

The British Independent Film Awards were handed out on Sunday, December 6, honoring the top achievements in independent cinema across the pond. Alex Garland’s Ex Machina was the big winner of the night, walking away with three of the top prizes, including Best British Independent Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay, as well as special recognition for the film’s visual effects.
