Martin, a co-creator of the new series with Kingsman films writer Jane Goldman, has been calling it “The Long Night,” but has said he doesn’t expect that’s what it will be called. The series is set around 5,000 years before HBO’s hit show, a time in which Westeros was made of a hundred petty kingdoms. The cast includes Naomi Watts (The Impossible), Miranda Richardson (Harry Potter franchise), Jamie Campbell Bower (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia films), among others.
