John McLaughlin, the conservative political commentator, passed away this week at the age of 89. McLaughlin started the confrontational political panel talk show The McLaughin Group back in 1982, giving rise to a new format in political news. No cause of death was specified, but the ailing McLaughlin missed last week’s taping of the show, his first absence in the series’ 34 years.

Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones is making her return to the small screen for the first time in two decades. Zeta-Jones joined Ryan Murphy’s new FX anthology drama Feud this week, joining previously cast stars Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon. Feud will center on a different famous feud every season. The first eight episodes will focus on the famous rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis during the filming of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Lange will play Crawford, Sarandon will play Davis, and Zeta-Jones will play actress Olivia de Havilland, Davis’ close friend.  Havilland was herself embroiled in a longtime feud with her own sister, actress Joan Fontaine, during this time. Production will begin this fall and debut in 2017… we can’t wait for the drama and Hollywood Glam to hit our DVRs’ next year.

Vaughan, and the show is being created by Gossip Girl alums Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz — who also will write — along with Marvel Television and ABC Signature. Runaways is a coming-of-age story about privileged teens — who don’t even like each other — uniting to defend the world against their supervillain parents.

A trailer dropped today by FX appears to show a link between all of the seasons of American Horror Story. Recently, FX’s John Landgraf admitted that some of the season 6 teasers released so far have been red herrings. However, this brand-new teaser appears to connect Season 6 with all previous seasons, and link all the storylines together with the tagline, “Murder. Madness. Magic. Misfits. Mayhem … Mystery?” But is it real, or another ruse? Check out the new teaser trailer and decide for yourself here.
