Who's Playing Two-Face in "Batman" Sequel?

Christopher Nolan has confirmed Two-Face will be one of the villains in "The Dark Knight," his follow-up to "Batman Begins," and IGN FilmForce is trying to determine who will play the role.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Phillippe, Liev Schreiber, and Guy Pearce have all been rumored to be in the running for the part, but IGN writes that Schreiber and Pearce seem unlikely, and that Gyllenhaal’s people outright denied it.

"Relax, Master Bruce… no one’s sure when you’ll meet your new archnemisis."

However, according to IGN, no one in Phillippe’s camp initially seemed to have an answer on his status for the film before denying it later. Also, because the script has not been completed, there’s no word on Katie Holmes‘ status in the new film. However, Christian Bale and Michael Caine will reprise their roles. Nolan‘s "The Prestige" hits theaters on Oct. 20.
